The Use of Sentinel-2A Images to Estimate Potential Flood Risk With A Multi-Index Approach in The Mempawah Watershed

Natural disasters in Indonesia have become an annual cycle, example is flooding. This study aims to determine the flood risk potential Mempawah watershed and places likely be flooded. The method used was a survey interpretation of secondary data from topographic maps, Sentinel-2A images, Digital Elevation Model images. Furthermore, analysis includes Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI), Normalized Difference Vegetation (NDVI), Water (NDWI), Soil Adjusted (SAVI), Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW). result showed that has high, medium, low potential. Areas with high area 1,511,967 ha, those medium were 2,606,778 12,644,034 ha. changes class user's accuracy results reached 90.909%, while no change 83.333%. It also discovered when satellite > 70%, it regarded as good. means detection approach good.
